Description
The EDAN Acclarix AX8 Compact Ultrasound System combines advanced diagnostic imaging with a compact and ergonomic design. It is designed for healthcare environments where portability, performance and efficient workflow are important.
The AX8 supports a wide range of clinical applications, including general imaging, OB/GYN, cardiac, vascular, urology, small parts, musculoskeletal and paediatric examinations.
Advanced Ultrasound Imaging
The AX8 provides a comprehensive range of imaging modes, including B-mode, M-mode, Color Doppler, PDI, DPDI, PW Doppler and CW Doppler. It also supports Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI), 3D/4D imaging, elastography and Panorama imaging.
In addition, advanced technologies such as Synthetic Focused Sonography (Synsight), Tissue Adaptive Imaging (TAI), harmonic imaging, spatial compounding, frequency compounding and speckle reduction imaging help support detailed diagnostic examinations.
Compact and Portable Design
The AX8 features a 15.6-inch Full HD LED monitor with a 1920 × 1080 resolution. The display is tiltable for improved viewing and workflow flexibility.
A 12.3-inch touchscreen interface with gesture control provides intuitive system operation. Furthermore, the rechargeable dual-battery configuration provides approximately two hours of typical ultrasound examination use.
At approximately 5.8 kg including two batteries, the AX8 is easy to move between clinical areas. Its compact design also makes it suitable for facilities where space is limited.
